最近，DJ才從一趟小小旅程回來，加上深秋的魅力，整個人都像沙發JAZZ一般，每天很庸懶地品味生命每刻鐘，也絞盡腦汁地想找個音樂來作為紀念。直到幾天前才發現，最貼近我這一時期的音符就是Jill Scott(吉兒史考特)的 「 Beautifully Human 」 (美麗的人們)了。

吉兒的音樂在隨性中有著自我的個性及自由感，讓人不由得想隨著她美好的嗓音起飛，編上一段完全屬於自己的舞碼。

「美麗的人們」這張專輯中，每首歌曲的音樂都令人回味再三，不由得讓DJ想起2年前旅行過的北歐國家-瑞典。 ~~~~~~ 湛藍無限寬廣的海洋、無距離的海風、點影婆娑的揚帆，還有完全屬於自己的節奏 ~~。

吉兒出身於費城，為女歌手兼詩人，曲風融合了R&B、Soul、Jazz、Blue等。於2000年發行首張專輯 - " Who Is Jill Scott? "，專輯推出後得到葛萊美獎，包括「最佳新人」等三項大獎提名、靈魂列車「最佳節奏藍調 / 靈魂專輯」及告示牌音樂獎「年度最佳節奏藍調 / 嘻哈女性藝人」。
吉兒的先生也是從事藝術工作者。
